Abstract Submissions

BrAVO Winter Meeting 2009

The BrAVO Winter Meeting is the premier meeting for veterinary ophthalmologists in the UK and is supported by international delegates.
We attract a wide range of abstract submissions from research institutes through to first opinion private practitioners.

We do all we can to encourage first time presenters and offer support and back up for you from the first stages of writing an abstract through to the presentation itself.

Why Present An Abstract?

Abstract presentations are the ideal way to show your interest in ophthalmology and to get yourself known within BrAVO.

If you are doing a certificate then a case report may be suitable for presentation and all the hard work will already have been done.

No-one has seen everything and your report/ research may be the first time this has been described, i.e. you would be enlightening everyone from new graduates to old hands!

If you are considering an internship or residency in veterinary ophthalmology then it is an excellent addition to your CV.

If your abstract is accepted for presentation you will receive a cheque to the value of one free day registration for the Winter Meeting.

Abstract Guidelines

  • The first line should give the Title of the Abstract.
