Welcome

The inaugural Doris Gray student conference presented by the Women's Engineering Society will connect women engineering and technology students from across the UK with employers for a weekend event showcasing the work of recent graduates and early career men and women working in engineering or technology based roles.

The weekend will provide an opportunity for women students to find out more about what it’s like working in engineering and technology jobs, connect with each other, with employers and enjoy personal development sessions.

Who Can Attend?

The conference will be open to all women engineering and technology students, both undergraduate and postgraduate full or part time.

Conference Outline

The conference will run over 2 days to enable networking and connections between participants.

Day One: presentations from inspiring women, sponsors, and participating companies; company tables/exhibit; evening - networking reception and dinner with invited speakers

Day Two: personal and professional development sessions

Fees

A registration fee of just £40.00 per student is payable to confirm a place.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship opportunities exist for gold, silver and bronze sponsors, the provision of travel bursaries for students from across the UK from all engineering and technology disciplines as well as speaking slots / workshops on technical and personal development topics.
